5-Year DDS Program

Introduction


Our five-year DDS program includes three semesters of Pre-Dental program, two years of Basic Sciences followed by two years of Dental Clinical Practice which will be completed in Aruba. Our curriculum has undergone rigorous selection process to be equivalent to US/Canadian Dental School programs

Introduction


At Nucleus University School of Dentistry (NUSOD) the curriculum of Pre-Dental is highly integrative and clinical based. An accelerated Pre-Dental Program, which guides through the Caribbean Dental School requirements, helping to fulfill the dreams of becoming a Dentist and receiving a DDS without DAT for Dental School.

The program is designed for students to become highly knowledgeable, skillful, and compassionate dentists of the future. The instructors hold MD, DDS or PhD and or Masters in their respective field and expect students to have little doubt in their abilities to become a Dentist. NUSOD accepts students from High School who have high scholastic achievements and prepares them to become dental students, by preparing them for basic sciences program.

Pre-Dental students in this program benefit by securing their positions as dental students without first obtaining their bachelors or master’s degrees. Once you decide to enroll as a predental student, our program will make you prepare for the rigorous curriculum of our dental school. We will provide all the knowledge and tools to become a successful candidate to get accepted into our dental school.

Pre-Dental Curriculum:

Students will undergo three semesters of Pre-Dental program to complete the following courses to be eligible for consideration into NUSOD Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Program.

  • Medical English
  • Physics
  • Introduction to Epidemiology and Biostatics
  • Introduction to Human Physiology
  • Medical Terminology
  • Introduction to medical Psychology
  • Cell Biology and Histology
  • Introduction to Anatomy

Canadian students can stay close to their family and study in the comfort of their own home environment. Our knowledgeable and professional instructors not only educate, but tutor and advise students throughout the course of their study. Students are instructed based on a rigorous curriculum, which will set a strong foundation for Doctor of Dental Degree program.

Students complete 90 credit hours of the Pre-Dental Program in one year, which satisfies the prerequisites to be qualified and eligible for admission into our DDS program.
